Has Sam Byram got a future at West Ham?

If this fella can sort out his never-ending injuries, has he got any chance of getting near the first team? I'd say the only possible position is at right wing back.
The problem is i just think he's too lightweight and too often injured.

I don’t mind him. Needs to improve and stay fit but I would hope that we will look to bring somebody in with a bit more quality and more suited to the right wing back role to compete with Zabaleta. If that happens a loan move might be a good to enable him to get regular games and see how he gets on.

Needs a big preseason and a clean bill of health
There is something there but he is in and out (mainly out) so much he hasn't got going.

Nope, he's surely going to be moved on. We need tonight backs this summer because neither of ours are up to playing in a four. We need to get away from this dreadful three CBs because our full backs are incapable of defending. Having a dogshit midfield doesn't help either.

Really disappointed with this lad. Was ripping it up at Leeds. And just not done it here. May not have been his fault as the step up just may have been to big. He's simply not good enough for where we want to be.

Agree he's been disappointing
By now he should have made the RB spot his own but he hasn't either through injury or poor form
He's been good in patches, but that's not good enough, you need fullbacks to be solid, tough & reliable week in week out
For that reason, Byram will almost certainly need to be shipped out, once he's fit
Zabaletta has been a great player in his time but now he's getting regularly done for pace by speedy wingers
We desperately need a quality RB, but that can be said of most positions in the current squad unfortunately

Doubtful.
He’s had 2.5 years at the club, can’t stay fit and doesn’t look like much of a player when he is. I don’t know if he’s another victim of the Bilic era or just not good enough to start with.

He’s nowhere near good enough and it’s time for us to start being ruthless with these players who offer nothing. Instead they just hang around like an unflushable turd and are being paid a fortune for doing zero.
Cut loose, say goodbye and move on.

He should probably be replaced, however, the first priority should be replacing the ageing Zabeleta with a first choice RB. Once that's done the club can consider its options with regard to the back-up.

Jenkinson is on loan at Birmingham and can't get into their team even though they nearly hit Division 3 this season.
Remember the season him and Cressy were shit hot? Shame really he never recaptured that.
